Markets in Hoorn

Hoorn has three weekly markets for goods. Every Saturday, the city centre has a long row of market stalls on the Breed, Gedempte Turfhaven, Gouw en Nieuwstraat, where an extremely wide range of goods is sold.

There is a smaller market every Tuesday near the shopping centre in the Kersenboogerd (Betje Wolffplein), while there is a market every Wednesday near the shopping centre De Huesmolen in Risdam.

The spring market and the fall market are annual markets. The traditional Lappendag is held on the last day of the carnival, in august.
